Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls from members, prospective members, providers and internal staff regarding benefits, eligibility and claims. Creatively solves member/provider inquiries to ensure accurate and complete First Call Resolution. Provide customer education on health plan benefits and programs. Provide assistance to members and/or providers regarding website registration and navigation. ? Identify any trends related to incoming or outgoing calls that may provide policy or process improvements to support service excellence, quality assurance and reduced call volumes. Maintain a professional relationship with the member/provider to ensure a positive customer experience. Document pertinent information and all work activity in the appropriate systems to comply with company policies and procedures. Ensure accounts are processed in accordance to federal and state regulations including but not limited to, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines.
